What mine rehabilitation works include

Barring down and inspecting the back and walls of a workingOver time, rock pressure deforms ground support, the cross-section of the working shrinks, and loose rock and falls of ground appear. Rehabilitation restores the working's design dimensions and safety without taking it out of the mine's operation.
Why it is difficult and how we do it
Sheet 02Re-supporting is carried out in a live working used by people and vehicles, in rock that has already failed once. Here you cannot rush, and you cannot drag things out. Work proceeds section by section, to a schedule agreed with the mine, with barring down and back inspection at every step.
Disturbed zones are stabilised with resins: voids behind the ground support are filled with a foaming material, and fractured rock mass is consolidated with a bonding one. The hazardous zone is stabilised quickly, and repeat falls of ground are prevented in advance.

Yes. Re-supporting proceeds section by section to a schedule agreed with the mine — haulage continues.
What should be done after a fall of ground?
The zone is stabilised: voids are filled with foaming resin, the rock mass is consolidated, then the ground support is restored. Contact us — we will assess the work front on site.
Do you work in hazardous workings?
We rehabilitate damaged workings to design and with the client's permit; all work complies with industrial safety requirements.
