Ground support of underground workings
We support workings during development and reinforce existing ones: rock bolting, SVP steel arches, shotcrete, resin consolidation of disturbed rock mass. The type of ground support follows the client's design and support standard.

Installing ground support in an underground workingThe type of ground support is determined by the rock, the service life of the working and the design. Our crews work with all types common at Kazakhstan's mines.
Ground support in difficult conditions
Sheet 02In disturbed ground, support alone is not enough: voids behind it and fractured rock mass eventually lead to falls of ground. We fill voids with foaming phenolic resin and consolidate the rock mass with polyurethane resin — it penetrates fractures and anchors rock bolts, forming a monolith with the surrounding rock.

Whose ground support standard do you work to?
To the design and ground support standard approved by the client. If needed, our engineers help select the solution.
What materials do you use to consolidate the rock?
Two-component resins: foaming phenolic resin to fill voids, and bonding polyurethane resin to consolidate the rock mass and anchor rock bolts.
