Phenolic resins: void filling and rock consolidation
Chemical consolidation of rock with two-component resins is a process that lets the work proceed productively and safely. Hazardous zones are stabilised quickly, and accidents involving falls of rock are prevented in advance.

A miner's cap lamp — work in a disturbed zoneTwo-component foaming phenolic resin, once mixed, rapidly expands in volume and forms a light but strong foam. It fills voids in mines, including hard-to-reach ones: the hazardous zone is stabilised, and further deterioration and gas build-up are ruled out.
Two-component polyurethane resin has high adhesion to rock and structural elements. It penetrates the finest fractures, consolidates unstable areas and anchors rock bolts, creating a solid monolith with the surrounding rock mass.

Sheet 03Resins are part of our mine rehabilitation works at Vostoktsvetmet's mines. In its reference, the client noted our “extensive experience in applying modern methods of driving and re-supporting underground workings with the use of foaming and bonding resins in the difficult mining and geological conditions of the Orlovskoye deposit”.
We carry out the work under contract — with our own trained crews and injection equipment — rather than selling materials.
